Wood Handle Stainless Steel Mesh Miso Strainer with Spoon

Description

This stainless steel strainer helps dissolve miso paste into soups and stews. Use the slotted spoon to muddle the paste and push it through the fine mesh. The result is a perfectly smooth broth with rich umami flavour.

Some miso pastes, especially the darker kinds, can be grainy. This strainer and spoon set helps to dissolve the paste without any sediment passing through. In Japan, this utensil set is known as a misokoshi.

The strainer is small enough to fit most pans and stock pots. It can also be used to drain noodles or vegetables.

The wooden handle stays cool while you cook. You can hang it up by its hook when not in use.
