This unique whisky smoked salt from Hawkhead is packed with woody flavours. This salt is made from the purest flakes of triple-filtered Atlantic salt, which are infused with flavour in aged whisky-barrels. It is then combined with umami-rich black garlic for complex savoury flavour in one seasoning. Salt, smoke and savoury - in just one pinch! 

The barrels chosen to infuse this salt with smoky have held whisky for over 70 years. When burned they release layers of spirit that add a sweetness to the warm smoky aromas.

Use this salt to add layers of flavour when seasoning soups, stews and marinades. This smoked salt is perfect for adding a subtle umami note to breakfast eggs, or intensifying a garlic ciabatta with a finishing sprinkle.
