Venchi’s hand-made and hand-wrapped chocolate cigars are a unique piece of confectionery, made with Venchi’s nougatine which follows a recipe that has remained unchanged since 1905. A nougatine of crunchy caramel with rich hazelnuts is then wrapped in a double layer of crisp milk chocolate and 56% dark chocolate.

This chocolate cigar can be sliced and shared as a post-dinner nibble with espressos or a tipple of whisky. 

Venchi has been making chocolate since 1878. Founder Silviano Venchi loved chocolate so much he spent all his savings on two bronze cauldrons and began to experiment. After some years of practising, he began making nougatine and opened a chocolate shop in Piedmont. Now, over 140 years later, Venchi make truffles, chocolates and gelato, with an aim of making life that little bit sweeter.

Ingredients: Sugar, cocoa butter, Piedmont hazelnut paste, cocoa mass, whole milk powder, caramel - 7.2% (sugar, glucose syrup, cream (from milk), butter (from milk)), cocoa powder, emulsifier: soy lecithin, anhydrous milk fat, natural vanilla flavour.
