Sarah Petherick Wooden Chopsticks with Horn Accent, 26cm

Description

These handcrafted chopsticks are ideal for eating all your favourite Asian dishes. Made from smooth, polished wood with a horn tip, they are an eye-catching alternative to lacquered wood or plastic chopsticks. Use these elegant chopsticks to eat crispy dumplings, lemongrass chicken or bún chả (Vietnamese noodle bowls).

Each piece is individually hand carved and finished by highly skilled craftsmen in Vietnam. The tableware is made using waste materials: rosewood off-cuts from a furniture maker and water buffalo horn that would otherwise be discarded and incinerated. Due to the natural material of the product, some pieces may have natural markings - each one is unique.

Not dishwasher safe.

About Sarah Petherick

Inspired by her mother’s collection of antique silver spoons, Sarah designed and launched a range of horn cutlery with British hallmarked silver. It went on to win an award for 'Outstanding Design’ presented by the British Interior Design Association in May 2003. Sarah uses 3D models, rather than drawings, to design and refine her pieces so she can visualise them in real space.
