Salami Felino IGP Riserva is made by La Fattoria di Parma, a family-owned company in rural northern Italy. This dry-cured pork salami is prepared with 167g of pork per 100g of finished product, and is simply flavoured with salt, pepper and spices.
The Felino salami is unique to Parma and takes its name from the Italian town of Felino. In order to be recognised as an authentic Felino salami, the following properties must be met:
- Ruby-red colour
- Sweet, delicate flavour profile
- Weighing between 500g and 700g (although this product is half a salami, hence the weight)
- Only cut once it has been seasoned for at least 60-90 days
Ingredients: Pork, Salt, Natural flavours, pepper and spices, Antioxidant: Sodium Ascorbate, Preservatives: Sodium Nitrite, Potassium Nitrate.
Storage: Keep in a cool dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated <7 degrees Celsius and consume within 10 days.
