Ortiz bonito in organic olive oil is a quality jar of the meaty bonito tuna – caught by rod and line in the Bay of Biscay. The pale flesh has a lovely delicate flavour, and is best enjoyed as the main event of your dish. Serve it simply on buttered sourdough toast, or use it to crown a Nicoise salad.

They also only fish at the point in the season when the tuna weigh 30kg or less, to give the most tender fillets. All the fish that Ortiz buys is caught on rod and line in the Bay of Biscay and then processed by hand. The fish is also ethically sourced, creating as little marine waste as possible.
