Food Design Round Serving Tray, 39cm

This round serving tray is perfect for serving a leisurely breakfast in bed. Made from Scandinavian birch wood, it has a colourful ‘good food, good mood’ design that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Designed with food lovers in mind, the tray showcases some of our favourite ingredients in vibrant shades of red, yellow and green. There are juicy tomatoes, avocado and chillies, as well as pantry staples like olive oil and hot sauce.

These trays are designed by Asta Barrington, a Bath-based artist who studies at the Royal College of Art in London. After many years of selling her own label, luxury, hand-dyed and embroidered scarves and blankets at Barneys in New York and Japan, as well as Designers Guild in London, she moved on to designing patterns for interior products. She has seen great success and collaborated with many top manufacturers. Beautiful intricate patterns have become her signature style.
