This Sicilian colomba is enriched with candied orange peel, orange purée and an aromatic, aged Marsala wine, then topped with Sicilian almonds and crunchy sugar crystals. The sourdough cake is baked in the shape of a dove for a beautiful Easter centrepiece.
Each sourdough cake is presented in a stunning tin, designed by Sicilian artists, and inspired by the traditional majolica pottery of the island.
The colomba are available in two colours, pink and blue.
Domenico Dolce is originally from Polizzi Generosa in Palermo, Sicily, so the designer jumped at the chance to celebrate his home country with bespoke designs for Fiasconaro.

About Fiasconaro
Fiasconaro was founded in Castelbuono, Sicily in 1953 by Mario Fiasconaro. Mario started out as an ice-cream maker and pastry chef, and his first great masterpieces were mountains of profiteroles. His three sons, Fausto, Nicola and Martino, began learning the art of pastry when they were children. Today, the three brothers still lead the company. Nicola is the production manager and an award-winning pastry chef. You’ll taste his expertise in every bite of Fiasconaro’s luxurious panettones and torrone.
