Molino Pasini Italian 00 Flour
Description
Molino Pasini Italian 00 flour, also known as doppio zero, is the secret ingredient in crisp, golden pizza crusts and fresh egg pasta. This extremely fine white flour is milled several times until it has the texture of baby powder. It is made from grains that have their bran and germ removed, giving it a pure white colour.
00 flour creates dough that has a smooth texture and good elasticity - perfect for pastries, pillowy focaccia and silky smooth lasagne sheets. It won’t tear when you roll it out to make delicate pasta shapes or ultra-thin flatbreads and pizza bases. You can use this fine Italian flour to make a batch of fragrant saffron buns or gnudi (ricotta dumplings) to serve with sage butter.
Italian 00 flour is the same as French type 45 and American pastry flour, so you can also use it to make croissants, baguettes, cookies and pie crusts.
This all-purpose 00 flour is available in two sizes: 1kg and 5kg.
