Enjoy organic gluten free penne pasta with pesto or a spicy arrabbiata sauce. The pasta is made with organic chestnut flour, giving a hint of nuttiness. This pasta is tried and tested by the Sous Chef team – we all voted it a fantastic pasta, and no-one even guessed it was gluten free!

Penne is a classic pasta shape. The ridges on the surface help sauce cling to the outside, and the scoop-shaped ends gather pieces of meat, vegetables and sauce into the middle.

The organic gluten free penne pasta cooks in boiling water in 10 minutes.

ALPA started in 1960, when the Gualtieri family decided to make the most of Calabria’s chestnuts. They specially select the best chestnuts to make their flours, pastas and condiments.

Ingredients: organic corn flour (80%), organic chestnut flour (20%), water.
