How To Drink A Pornstar Martini

The Pornstar Martini comes in two glasses. Serve the passion fruit and vodka mix in a classic martini glass, alongside half a passion fruit. Serve the shot of prosecco on the side in a chilled shot glass. The idea is to scoop out the passion fruit, then down the prosecco shot before enjoying the sweet vodka martini.

History Of The Pornstar Martini 

A relatively young cocktail, the Pornstar Martini was created in 2002 by bartender Douglas Ankrah in The Townhouse Bar in Knightsbridge, London. It’s often thought of as a sweet cocktail, but it should be a good balance of lime, vanilla and passion fruit.

Where Did The Pornstar Martini Get Its Name From?

The cocktail was allegedly first called the Maverick Martini, after a bar in Cape Town South Africa, but the name soon evolved to Pornstar, to reflect the passion fruit. The Hot Pornstar Martini has an extra fiery kick from the jalapeno syrup.
