Tortas de aceite are flaky olive oil biscuits that are a popular breakfast treat in Spain. Light and crisp, these sugared biscuits are subtly flavoured with anise and sesame seeds. They’re great on their own but also delicious with jam, preserves and chocolate hazelnut spread. Enjoy them with your morning tea or coffee for a Mediterranean-style start to the day.
These biscuits are handmade in Seville by an artisan family of five sisters. They are made with extra virgin olive oil, rather than dairy, and are therefore naturally vegan.
Each pack contains six individually wrapped biscuits.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, extra virgin olive oil 14%, sugar 14%, high oleic sunflower oil, yeast, aromatic spices (aniseed in grain and sesame), salt and natural aroma of aniseed).
