Meet the maker: Sabre Paris

Sabre Paris is a French cutlery maker, created by Francis Gelb who comes from a family of gold and silversmiths. In 1993 Habitat asked him to design a knife - and his obsession with cutlery began.

Together with his wife Pascale, Francis has built a cutlery design house loved for its usable but striking pieces. Many of Sabre's knives and forks have become design icons in their own right.

An early adopter of the 'mix and match' style, Sabre Paris cutlery is designed to bring caharacter and colour to your table.
