Netherton Foundry Spun Iron Chestnut & Barbecue Pan

Description

Enjoy roasted chestnuts at home with Netherton Foundry’s chestnut pan. This specialist pan can be used indoors and outdoors on hobs, barbecues and open fires.

Serve roasted chestnuts as they are or with a little melted butter. Once roasted, they taste creamy and slightly sweet. You can also add them to salads and stuffing.

The pan is made from 99.1% pure spun iron. It’s extremely durable and builds up a non-stick patina over time. It is pre-seasoned with flax oil so you can start cooking straight away.

You can use the pan on all kinds of hobs, including induction. When used over an open fire, the holes in the pan allow the flames to reach the chestnuts. This helps them to pop and crackle as they cook.

Iron heats quickly so always use protective gloves when handling the pan.

About Netherton Foundry

The Netherton Foundry is a family company based in Shropshire – home of the 18th and 19th century ironmasters. Their pans are made from 99.1% pure iron and they use locally sourced materials wherever possible – the oak that makes the pan handles is British, and the flax seasoning oil comes from Sussex. Experienced local craftsmen use traditional manufacturing methods to bring you high quality cookware that gets better over time.
