Mermaid Silver Anodised 8" Square Sandwich Tin

Mermaid Silver’s anodised square sandwich tin is ideal when baking brownies, blondies and American-style sheet cakes. This versatile square tin can also be used for no-bake fridge cakes and roasting fruits and vegetables. 

Aluminium offers even heat distribution throughout the entire tin, meaning there are no hot or cool spots, producing a consistent bake, everytime. This aluminium sandwich tin has undergone an anodising process which hardens the aluminium, making it tougher and resistant to rust and the effects of frequent use. This tin is a durable, long lasting piece of bakeware that can be used time and time again.

The bakeware improves with age. Unlike products coated with non-stick (PTFE), which deteriorate with use, frequent use of the Mermaid silver products will enhance their release properties. After each use, the anodised surface captures and retains a microscopic film of lubricant which builds up to form a ‘patina’.
