Katto Rosewood Handle Santoku Knife, 19cm

Description

This sleek Santoku knife is made from the finest Japanese steel, so it’s ultra-sharp and extremely versatile. Japanese for ‘three virtues’, the Santoku knife makes chopping, slicing and dicing feel effortless. It’s well balanced and has a smooth rosewood handle that offers precise, powerful control.

An excellent all-rounder in any kitchen, this kitchen knife is great for preparing meat, fish and robust vegetables like potatoes and butternut squash. It’s lighter and more agile than a Western chef’s knife - ideal for mincing garlic, filleting a fish or chopping fresh herbs. Keep it close by when you need to dice chicken for a spicy stir-fry or slice vegetables for a noodle salad.

Katto knives are handmade in the UK. They use Japanese steel which makes their knives strong but flexible and ultra-sharp without being brittle or difficult to sharpen. The handles are made from sustainable FSC Certified woods.

This knife is not dishwasher safe. Clean it in warm, soapy water and dry immediately. If your knife needs sharpening, Katto recommends using a Japanese whetstone.
