Bartolini Chickpea Flour, 500g

Description

Bartolini chickpea flour is the essential ingredient in Tuscan farinata pancakes. Simply blend the chickpea flour with extra olive virgin oil to make a thick batter, and fry. The pancakes are often flavoured with rosemary and served as a snack.

You can also use chickpea flour to coat vegetables before roasting, to make falafel or to make the batter for Indian pakora fritters.

The Bartolini family has been based in Umbria for six generations, and the company started as a small oil mill operated by animal power. Since those very early days, they have grown into a highly respected Umbrian brand supplying quality olive oil, grains and pasta.
