These Chinese chopped preserved mustard greens bring tangy, pickled, umami savoury notes to dishes. The juicy chopped preserved mustard greens, are a popular ingredient and condiment in Shanghai and the Southern Yangtze region. The pickled vegetables make a great addition to Chinese stir-fries, stews as well as Japanese hot pot dishes such as nabemono. These vegetables can be used when recipes suggest 'ya cai'.
