Brew Your Own Beer At Home

Brew your own beer at home in only two weeks. Brooklyn Brew Shop kits from the USA include professional equipment and ingredients. The best part? You can use your home-brew kit again and again!

The Brooklyn Brew Shop was founded in 2009 with the aim of showing New Yorkers that home brewing can be both simple and fun. Erica Shea and Stephen Valand developed easy-to-use kits that are designed specifically for stove-top brewing. So not only is making your own beer easier than ever, but you can even do it if you’re strapped for space! The Brooklyn Brew Shop was an instant hit, with their mixes for classic pale ales and Belgium style beers, as well as seasonal offerings and partnerships with famous breweries.

Each beer making kit includes:
  • All-grain ingredients mix
  • Beer making yeast
  • 1 Gallon (approx. 4 Litres) glass fermenter
  • Glass spirit-filled thermometer
  • Vinyl tubing
  • Racking cane & tip
  • Chambered air lock
  • Brooklyn Brew Shop cleanser
  • Screw-cap stopper
  • Instructions

To make the beer you will also need: two large stock pots – one that holds approximately 4 litres, and another that holds approximately 6 litres – a funnel, a fine mesh strainer, some honey, and something to bottle the beer in. You can reuse swing-top bottles from lemonade, or even empty jam jars!

Brewing Kits

Brooklyn Brew Shop BrewDog Punk IPA

USA meets UK in this partnership between American home-brew afficionados and Scottish craft beer rebels. The kit makes approximately 4 litres of Brewdog's flagship brew, Punk IPA - a very hoppy, deep amber coloured ale. Notes of caramel and bursts of tropical fruits make this ale one to remember.
