Description
This white rice paddle is an essential tool for stirring and serving rice. Made from durable white plastic, it’s easy to clean and won’t scratch your pan or rice cooker. Reach for the rice paddle whenever you’re serving individual portions of steamed or sticky rice. You can also use it to gently pat rice into a small bowl to create neat domes of rice to serve with curries and stir-fries.
Known as shamoji in Japanese, rice paddles are used to gently fluff and separate cooked rice, ensuring there is no moisture trapped under the surface. Unlike other utensils, the rice paddle doesn’t mush or affect the texture of the rice.
