Shallot Sauce, 175g

Description

Shallot sauce is a traditional Taiwanese ingredient for making braised pork and stir-fried rice noodles. This sauce is made with fresh shallots which grow in the warm south of Taiwan – the sunny climate produces highly aromatic shallots. The aromatic shallots are blended with soybeans, salt, spices and sugar to create this flavour-packed sauce.

As well as using shallot sauce to make classic Taiwanese dishes of braised pork, it’s also fantastic with congee, ramen, fried rice and gyoza.
