Description

This shallot and lemon seaweed tapenade brings a taste of the sea to sauces and fish dishes. Three varieties of seaweed – green laver, dulse and sea beans – blend with shallots and lemon juice to create a ready-made, flavour-packed paste. 

Toss this shallot and lemon seaweed tapenade through spaghetti for a speedy midweek meal, spread over crostini for an easy canapé or use it to create citrus-laced starters. Scoop out the stone from an avocado and drizzle tapenade over the creamy fruit, or pair with prawn vol-au-vents. You can also use this tapenade as a condiment to serve with poached salmon and pan-fried sea bass.

Ingredients: Three mixed seaweed 58% (Europe) (green laver (Ulva sp. ), Dulse (Palmaria palmata ), sea beans (Himanthalia elongata )), colza oil, shallots (non UE) 11,6%, water, lemon juice (Italy) 2,3%, salt, pepper. Blue traces may appear on the product because of the natural presence of pearl shells.

Storage: Refrigerate after opening and consume within 5 days.
