Senzo Twist Damascus Steel VG10 Core Small Santoku Knife, 14.3cm

Description

The Senzo Twist santoku is a small, lightweight chef’s knife. Made in Japan, it’s a versatile all-rounder for everyday kitchen tasks.

The sharp blade glides effortlessly through raw and cooked ingredients. Use it to chop vegetables or slice thin strips of meat for stir fries. It can even handle tough vegetables like squash and swede.

Use the pointed tip to devein prawns or remove seeds from chillies.

Senzo Twist knives are forged from 69 layers of Damascus steel. The blade has a solid core of VG10 steel. This type of steel is renowned for its hardness and resistance to rust. The blade is cold forged under high pressure for increased strength and durability.

The Damascus/VG10 combination gives you a kitchen knife that is razor-sharp and easy to maintain. Indentations at the top of the blade prevent fatty and starchy foods from sticking to it.

The Pakkawood handle has a softly twisted octagonal design. It’s water resistant with an attractive natural grain pattern.

There is a ring of heat resistant red polymer between the bolster and handle. This allows for temperature changes that may cause the knife and handle to expand and contract at different rates. Not only does it look great, it protects the handle from splitting, too!

Wash by hand and dry thoroughly before storing. Not dishwasher safe.
