Senzo Twist Damascus Steel VG10 Core Santoku Knife, 16.7cm

Description
The Senzo Twist santoku will transform the way you meal prep. Made in Japan, it’s ultra sharp and beautifully balanced. Use it to tackle all kinds of slicing and chopping tasks.
Reach for this santoku when you need to dice onions or mince ginger. The blade easily slices through steaks and root vegetables. It’s lighter and easier to control than a Western chef’s knife.
Senzo Twist knives are forged from 69 layers of Damascus steel. The blade has a solid core of VG10 steel. This type of steel is renowned for its hardness and resistance to rust. The blade is cold forged under high pressure for increased strength and durability.
The Damascus/VG10 combination gives you a kitchen knife that is razor-sharp and easy to maintain. Indentations at the top of the blade prevent fatty and starchy foods from sticking to it.
The Pakkawood handle has a softly twisted octagonal design. It’s water resistant with an attractive natural grain pattern.
There is a ring of heat resistant red polymer between the bolster and handle. This allows for temperature changes that may cause the knife and handle to expand and contract at different rates. Not only does it look great, it protects the handle from splitting, too!
Wash by hand and dry thoroughly before storing. Not dishwasher safe.
