Sarah Petherick Salt & Pepper Spoon, Wood

Description

Use this polished wooden salt spoon to scoop pale pink Himalayan salt or crunchy fleur de sel. Handmade in Vietnam, it will add a touch of natural beauty to your dinner table and fits neatly into a salt pig. This sleek rosewood scoop is ideal for pepper, sugar and spices, too.

Each piece is individually hand carved and finished by highly skilled craftsmen. The tableware is made using waste materials: rosewood off-cuts from a furniture maker and water buffalo horn that would otherwise be discarded and incinerated. Due to the natural material of the product, some pieces may have natural markings - each one is unique.

Not dishwasher safe.

About Sarah Petherick

Inspired by her mother’s collection of antique silver spoons, Sarah designed and launched a range of horn cutlery with British hallmarked silver. It went on to win an award for 'Outstanding Design’ presented by the British Interior Design Association in May 2003. Sarah uses 3D models, rather than drawings, to design and refine her pieces so she can visualise them in real space.
