Sabarot Porcini Juice, 375g

Description

Sabarot porcini juice is a great way to flavour broths, stews and soups. Rich in umami, it captures the earthy flavour of wild mushrooms. It’s a great way to add porcini flavour to your dish. 

When you don’t have fresh mushrooms to hand, this juice is the next best thing. A small splash adds depth and complexity to stews, broths and pie fillings.

Add porcini juice to the pan when you’re making risotto. It will infuse the rice with woodsy mushroom flavour. The liquid can also be used to flavour Puy lentils. Add garlic and parsley to make an autumnal side dish for meat or fish.

For a simple sauce, pour the contents of the can into a pan. Reduce the porcini juice by half, add 200ml of cream and let it cook for five minutes. Taste and season to your liking. You can add chopped herbs, fried mushrooms or pancetta for extra flavour.

Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate after opening and consume within five days. Shake before opening.
