Sabarot Morel Juice, 375g

Description

Sabarot morel juice adds rich mushroom flavour to your dish. Use it to flavour sauces, braised lentils and vegetarian stews. It’s rich in umami and extremely versatile. 

When you don’t have mushrooms to hand, morel juice is an excellent substitute. A small splash delivers instant fungi flavour. The dark liquid captures the rich, woodsy taste of wild morels.

Add a dash of morel juice to pie fillings and casseroles. It’s a great way to add depth to a mushroom risotto. Mix it with vegetable or chicken stock to infuse the rice as it cooks.

For a simple sauce, pour the contents of the can into a pan. Reduce the porcini juice by half, add 200ml of cream and let it cook for five minutes. Taste and season to your liking. You can add chopped herbs, fried mushrooms or pancetta for extra flavour.

Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate after opening and consume within five days. Shake before opening.
