Nuri sardine pâté in olive oil with spices is a salty fish dip. This sardine pâté blends the small fish with olive oil, tomatoes, carrots and chickpeas to create a spreadable dip. A pinch of chilli brings a welcome heat to the tin. Spread the spicy sardine pâté on crackers, toast or enjoy with vegetable crudites.

Nuri is one of the oldest – and most iconic – brands of Portuguese tinned fish. The name Nuri comes from the Arabic word for ‘my light’, and this is what a customer exclaimed when they first saw the shiny sardines in the tin. The artisanal production process is steeped in tradition, with 37 steps required to produce a single Nuri tin.
