Morelli penne is a store cupboard staple for any pasta lover. You can toss the quill-shaped tubes with all kinds of sauces. The name ‘penne’ comes from the Italian word for ‘pen’. 

For a tasty meal in minutes, toss penne with fresh basil pesto. It sticks to the ridges so each mouthful is full of flavour. You can add a handful of toasted pine nuts for crunch.

Use this artisan pasta to make creamy penne alla vodka. It’s also good for pasta bakes because the sturdy tubes hold their shape. Add meatballs, tomato sauce and top with mozzarella. Leftovers reheat beautifully so nothing goes to waste.

Morelli uses an artisan method of reincorporating wheat germ into semolina. It gives their pasta a unique flavour and aroma, similar to toasted wheat.
