LGM Fermented Soybean in Chilli Oil, 280g

Description

LGM Fermented soybean in chilli oil, or Lao Gan Mao fermented soybean in chilli, is a rich umami condiment. Add a spoon to stir fries, sauces, or rice dishes. 

The soybeans are fermented then salted, which creates an intensely savoury flavour. They are blended with chilli oil and sweetened with a little sugar. 

Fermented soybean works well in Chinese braised dishes. Try it in Mapo Dofu, or in Sichuan-style greens and pork.

Lao Gan Ma, or LGM, sauces are one of the best-loved chilli oils in the world. The signature red label features an image of founder Tao Huabi, who created the brand in 1984 from her kitchen table in China’s Guiyang province. Today her chilli sauces and oils are loved across the globe and have a cult following.
