Spare rib sauce is a handy sauce, created to satisfy your craving for Chinese spare ribs. Made from tomato paste, flavoured with sugar, garlic and fermented soy bean paste, the salty-sweet sauce is a versatile store cupboard item. Use it as a marinade for pork spare ribs, beef short ribs, chicken wings or cubes of firm tofu – adding a Chinese dimension to your barbecues -  and also as a stir-fry flavouring.

Lee Kum Kee was founded by a cook from Guangdong village who discovered oyster sauce in 1888. Known for the range and quality of its Chinese sauces, the company is now a global brand, widely used in Chinese restaurants around the world.
