This Japanese Seki Petty knife is smaller than a chef’s knife but larger than a paring knife. Its slim shape makes it ideal for handheld work, like removing eyes from potatoes. Perfect for peeling and trimming a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs and proteins, you can even use it to carve artistic garnishes. The elegant black handle is curved for comfort. The blade is made from molybdenum Japanese steel, with a Rockwell scale of Härte HRC 55. This hard-working utility knife is easy to use and easy to sharpen. Made in Seki City, Japan: world-renowned for their knife production, with a tradition dating back almost 800 years.
