Frantoi Cutrera Frescolio olive oil is made in sunny Sicily. It’s fruity and full-bodied with spicy, bitter notes. You can swirl it over soups and salads just before serving. 

Frescolio extra virgin olive oil is made from Moresca and Biancolilla olives. These olive varieties are native to Sicily. They are pressed within 24 hours of the harvest to preserve their freshness. The result is an intensely green oil with a grassy aroma.

On the palate, Frescolio olive oil is bold and fruity. Its spicy, bitter finish is balanced by notes of artichoke and fresh herbs. You can drizzle it over warm bread or a bowl of minestrone. It’s great for grilling and roasting, too.

The oil comes with a small packet of oregano. A small pinch transforms Italian and Mediterranean recipes. Add it to tomato sauce or use it in marinades for meat and fish. It’s also delicious on pizza and bruschetta.
