Caviaroli Basil Oil Pearls 50g

Description

Caviaroli basil oil pearls put an instant modernist twist on a classic caprese salad. Scatter the pearls over slices of mozzarella and fresh tomato in place of olive oil and fresh basil. The golden-green pearls will burst in your mouth to release the intense basil aroma.

The basil oil pearls are a great garnish for all sorts of Italian dishes. Try with pasta and pizza to turn these everyday meals into dishes worthy of a modernist dinner party! They also add an exciting visual element to canapes with olives, white fish or chicken. Or even use to put a twist on a gin & tonic – mix a London Dry style gin with tonic and garnish with a wheel of pink grapefruit and a few basil oil pearls.

To release the full aromas of the basil oil, ensure the lid is tightly closed and invert the jar a few times before use.

Caviaroli make their range of olive oil caviar in Esparreguera, just to the north west of Barcelona. The intense colours and flavours open up new possibilities when it comes to the presentation of food and drink. Caviaroli keep their texture even up to 60°C, so you can even use them to garnish hot dishes.

Each 50g jar of Caviaroli contains 10-15 servings.

Store unopened in a cool, dark place between 10°C and 26°C. Once opened, keep refrigerated no lower than 6°C and consume within 1 month. Keep away from strong odours.
