Yoki Sagu Mandioca, Cassava Sago, 500g


Yoki sagu mandioca are starchy pearls for adding to soups and chilled desserts. Cassava sago pearls are made from the pith of tropical palm trees. The small white pearls become transparent when boiled, with a soft chewy texture. Use cassava sago to make mango sago – a popular Hong Kong dessert made by blending sago with mango, coconut milk and cream. You can also use the cooked pearls to make sago porridge or Saboodana Wada.
