Three Crabs Vietnamese Fish Sauce, 682ml
Description
Three Crabs Vietnamese fish sauce is a store cupboard must-have for Southeast Asian cooking. Fish sauce, also known as nuoc mam ca com, brings a salty, umami tang to stir fries, Pad Thais and dipping sauces for noodles. The deep-amber coloured sauce is made with anchovy extract and instantly lifts a dish.
As well as using in stir fries, this fish sauce is fantastic tossed through wok-fried green vegetables.
Chef and author Sabrina Ghayour recommends:
"There is a good Vietnamese [fish sauce] I get though, from Sous Chef, called Three Crabs Fish sauce and it’s amazing. [...] Instead of using anchovies in pasta recipes I’ll use fish sauce since it does the same thing, is delicious, easy and I don’t have to open a whole tin of anchovies. Winning!" Sabrina Ghayour in The Times, September 2025
