Description
The Shima sake set is a stylish way to serve hot or cold sake with a Japanese meal. Handmade in Japan, the set includes a traditional flask (known as a ‘tokkuri’) and four small cups (known as ‘ochoko’). The ceramic flask and matching cups feature stripes of vibrant blue and earthy brown on a pure white background. (Shima means ‘stripe’ in Japanese.)
The cups have wide rims so that diners can enjoy the full aroma of the sake as they drink it. Sake can be served at room temperature, chilled or heated up to 40°C - when it’s known as atsukan.
