Description

Psyllium husk is a great natural source of fibre and a wonder ingredient in low gluten baking. It is soluble in water and can also be blended in to fruit or vegetable juices. Psyllium husk can be taken as a supplement to promote healthy digestion.  In gluten free bread and pastry recipes, the psyllium husk acts as a binder to help the ingredients stay together.

When eating psyllium husk, make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated.
