Ocelot Matcha Crunch Organic 70% Dark Chocolate Bar is for people who like to taste something a little different in their chocolate. Ocelot uses Virunga 70% dark chocolate, made with rare Amelonado cacao from a regenerative cooperative in Virunga National Park, then folds in organic Matcha Iri Genmaicha from Japan. That means sencha, matcha and roasted brown rice in the same bite.

Meet the maker: Ocelot

Ocelot is a Scottish craft chocolate maker based in Edinburgh. They make certified organic chocolate bars and drinking chocolate with ethically sourced cacao, natural ingredients, and bold, art-led packaging. Ocelot was founded in 2014 by husband-and-wife team Matt and Ishbel Broadbent. It began as a kitchen-table project in Edinburgh and grew into a small-batch craft chocolate brand with a dedicated workshop. Ocelot’s packaging is part of the joy. Each bar is wrapped in bold, graphic artwork, with a different design for each flavour. It makes the chocolate feel special before you even open it.

This is chocolate with a strong sense of place and purpose. Ocelot uses 100% regenerative chocolate, made with cacao grown in ways that help restore soil health and support biodiversity. Their cacao is ethically sourced by Original Beans, who work to make sure farmers are fairly paid.
