Mooncake Assorted Flavours, 720g

Description

Mooncakes are sweet baked cakes that are traditionally enjoyed during the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, and also during Chinese New Year. Shaped like a full moon, these delicious cakes represent happiness, harmony and family. They are often given as gifts in beautifully wrapped boxes and tissue packaging.

Mooncakes have a golden pastry exterior with a distinctive design applied by a stamp or mould before baking. They are often filled with sweetened red bean paste or lotus seed paste with salted duck egg yolks which also represent the full moon.

These mooncakes have four delicious fillings: white lotus paste, red bean paste, taro paste and winter melon paste. They are presented in a beautiful gold tin with a floral design - ideal for gifting. Serve the mooncakes at room temperature with Chinese tea.
