Monjardin Organic Whole Piquillo Peppers, 220g


Monjardin organic whole piquillo peppers have an intensely sweet and slightly smoky flavour. Bright red in colour, they are roasted whole and peeled by hand to preserve their delicious juices. A versatile store cupboard staple, they can be added to Mediterranean-inspired salads or eaten straight from the jar as part of an antipasti board.

Monjardin piquillo peppers are produced in Navarra in northern Spain, where they are often enjoyed on toasted bread or stuffed with goat's cheese or tuna.

Here are some other ways to enjoy piquillo peppers:

  • Pan-fry with sliced chorizo and red wine
  • Use them to top a vegetarian paella
  • Blitz with almonds, garlic and sherry vinegar for a classic romesco sauce
  • Add them to a tuna salad
