Martin Pouret Orleans PDO Espelette Pepper Mustard, 200g

Description

This French mustard is infused with Espelette pepper. Spread it on sandwiches or use it to make a vinaigrette. The flavour is bold yet refined - perfect for classic French recipes.

Espelette pepper is made from chilli peppers grown in the French Basque Country. Deep red in colour, it has a sweet, fruity flavour. This prized pepper adds a subtle smokiness to Martin-Pouret’s mustard.

Use this French mustard to flavour dipping sauces and potato salad. It’s great in marinades for chicken and red meat. Try brushing it over sausages and roast beef before cooking.

The mustard is made with seeds grown in the Loire Valley. In accordance with Orléans tradition, they are first soaked in barrel-aged wine vinegar. Then, the seeds are stone-ground to achieve a smooth, creamy texture.

Made to an age-old recipe, Martin-Pouret is more than just a condiment. It’s a celebration of French culinary tradition.
