Kilner Glass Butter Bell, 200ml
Description
The Kilner® butter bell is a stylish addition to your breakfast table. It keeps butter cool and fresh without the need for refrigeration. Keep it on your counter for maximum spreadability.
Also known as a butter crock, the container is made from soda lime glass. It has a timeless design that looks great in any kitchen. You can store up to 200ml of butter.
Fill the bell-shaped lid with butter and press to remove the air. Seal with cold water in the base. For best results, change the water every few days.
The water-seal method locks in freshness and flavour. Lift the lid to spread soft butter on toast and crumpets. Or, delight dinner guests with homemade flavoured butter.
The Kilner® butter bell is a lovely housewarming gift. Pair it with a butter knife or decorative tea towel.
Dishwasher safe.
About Kilner®
The original Kilner® jar was invented by John Kilner and Co. in 1842. The rubber-sealed glass jars are as popular now as they were 180 years ago. They are used for preserving, fermenting and everyday food storage. The eco-friendly jars are a great alternative to single-use plastic.
Today, the Kilner® range features a range of glass storage solutions. Discover jars for pickling, sprouting and sourdough starters. There are herb keepers and butter bells, too. Kilner® has everything you need for your next kitchen project.
