The Gujinggong Chiew Ancient 5 is classed as a ‘mixed’ baijiu within the classic ‘strong sauce’ category. It is fruity and fiery with notes of tea that are common in this savoury-style of baijiu. It is one of the stronger of the traditional Gujinggong baijius and leaves a lingering peppery note.

The spirit’s flavour is categorised on the most prominent aroma, which is created by adding extra ingredients to the central grain, as well the length and type of fermentation.
