Ergon Originals Red Vinegar, 250ml

Description

The vinegar is made from red Xinomavro wine. It’s produced by the Melissanidis Family in Aridaia, Greece. The quality of the wine is reflected in the complex flavour of the vinegar. 

Mix red wine vinegar with garlic, lemon juice and EVOO to make a vinaigrette. It’s delicious on peppery rocket and Greek salads. You can also use it to marinade meat and fish before grilling. The bold flavours are great with lamb and swordfish.

Red wine vinegar adds welcome acidity to sauces and stews. A small splash instantly lifts the flavour of a casserole or beef stew. It can also cut through the richness of ingredients like chorizo.

Add a little vinegar to braised red cabbage or potato salad. It’s great for deglazing pans and making quick pickled onions.
