Belazu early harvest arbequina extra virgin olive oil is a very special finishing oil from Catalonia in Spain. It has a complex character, with fresh notes of grass and pepper and richer notes of almonds and even banana.
Pair with simple dishes so as not to overpower the flavours of the olive oil. We think you can’t go wrong just using it to dip fresh bread into, but it’s also fabulous with roasted artichokes, sweet red peppers and chargrilled prawns.
The early harvest olive oil is extracted from a single varietal of Spanish Arbequina olives. The olives are the first ones of the season, hand picked when they’re not yet ripe. They’re then pressed between huge granite stones to extract the oil.
No vacuum harvesting techniques used, songbird friendly.
