These fruity biscuits are a fun twist on classic amaretti. The sweet taste of summer fruit pairs perfectly with bittersweet almonds. There are four flavours to discover: strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and peach.

Presented in a decorative tin, amaretti biscuits are a lovely gift. The tin has gold trim and a colourful fruit and flower design. The biscuits are individually wrapped so you can share them with friends and family.

When the tin is empty, you can use it to store sweets and cookies.

Dating back to the 1700s, amaretti biscuits were invented in Saronno, a city north of Milan. Made with almonds, sugar, apricot kernels and eggs, they are famous for their intense almond flavour and aroma.

There are two main types: amaretti morbidi, which are soft and chewy, and amaretti croccanti, which are crisp and crunchy. This version is soft with a moist, marzipan-like centre.
