Piemonte IGP hazelnuts are often considered the best hazelnuts in the world. These whole ones are roasted to bring out the intense hazelnut flavour.
Use the whole roasted Piemont IGP hazelnuts to decorate cakes or use in chunky hazelnut biscotti. Cover a layer of the hazelnuts in homemade caramel and make delectable hazelnut brittle to decorate ice cream, chocolate mousses or cheesecakes.
The hazelnuts are grown in Piemonte, or Piedmont, a region of northwest Italy that borders France and Switzerland.
