Terre Exotique organic laurel leaf bouquet will boost the flavour of stocks, soups and stews. Also known as bay leaves, laurel leaves have an intense aroma and savoury, herbal flavour. Terre Exotique laurel leaves are picked by hand in the garrigue in southern France.

Bay leaves are most commonly used in slow-cooked dishes such as casseroles, braises, soups and stocks. However, they will also enhance the flavour of quicker-cooking dishes like risotto, tomato sauce or a fluffy rice pilaf. You can use them in marinades for meat and fish, as well as plant-based dishes with beans and pulses.

Laurel or bay leaves are a key ingredient in the French bouquet garni - a bundle of dried herbs added to stews and other slow-simmered dishes to enhance their flavour.
