Qasa Qasa African Blackwood Samaki Spoon

Description

This hand carved wooden spoon is ideal for salt, sugar and spices, but would also make a great scoop for dips and salsa. Use it as a canape spoon or a scoop for nuts and seeds. Made from African blackwood, the spoon has a smooth finish and a unique fish shape, complete with twisted tail - ‘Samaki’ means fish in Swahili.

This elegant spoon is the perfect gift for food lovers and collectors of kitchenalia.

Each piece is handmade by artisans in Mtwara, Tanzania. As each scoop is individually carved, there may be slight variations in the shape and size, making it one of a kind. Some of the paddles feature a two-toned natural grain, showcasing the natural beauty of African Blackwood.
